Week 11 – Can You Believe We’re This Far Along?

Today was rainy & cold at the weekly pick up.  Really, truly awful weather, which made me fear for the coming months of fall & winter….  I don’t want the summer to end!!

So my pile o’ produce may look a little sparse today, because I decided not to take the potatoes (we still have so many at home!), the melon or the head of lettuce (more on that below).  But trust me, there was still much to be had!

Today included:

• 4 Ears of Corn
• 2 Cucumbers
• A Head of Broccoli
• A Head of Cabbage
• 3 apples
• 2 Peaches
• 1 Tomato
• Haricot Verts
• Romano Beans

A few extras thrown in there, purchased using my Stillman’s Bucks:

• Red Onion
• Yellow Squash
• A Bag of Mesclun (I loved it soooo much from last week, I had to trade in my head of red leaf for this)
